System Application Administrator

System Application Administrator (Empower, ELN) in a GMP environment
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors in Science in Computer Science, Life Science, or equivalent industry experience, and 5+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to)
Required:
3+ years working as an Empower System Admin
2+ years working as an ELN System Admin
3+ years experience working in biotech or pharmaceutical companies
3+ years experience working in a GMP environment
3+ years experience working with IT Systems
Demonstrated understanding of Networking, database, backup systems
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining EMPOWER (and other applications, such as ELN and possibly LIMS) application in compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
- Manage changes to the EMPOWER and other Validated applications according to business needs and internal procedures
- Interface directly with various IT functional areas as it pertains to the support of the GMP Applications.
- Develop and maintain administration procedures and IT work practices for the EMPOWER and other validated applications.
- Prepare and/or execute computer system validation documents.
- Trouble shooting of application issues
- Repair and recover from hardware and software failures, coordinate and communicate with related vendor or individuals.
- Prepare, review and update software/hardware qualification documents, admin work practices, change control, IS Policies, Guidelines and SOPs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
