Position Description
Accurately prepare drafts of general correspondence, subpoenas within the required due date set forth in the task assignment. Schedule depositions, including hiring court reports and translators, notifying clients of dates, rescheduling same when necessary; notifying all appropriate parties by telephone and/or correspondence. Schedule mediations, arbitrations, conferences and hearings within the required due date set forth in the task assignment. Maintain data integrity of iView by accurately importing documents into iView, including emails, faxes and local delivered documents, using the office's standard naming protocol. Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients, Claims, opposing and co-counsel by responding to email and phone requests the same day they are received. Photocopy documents as needed. Responsible for maintaining office calendar, including entering all calendar events in TeamConnect and/or alternate office calendar daily when notification of same is received; documenting the file with all calendar developments as they occur daily; attend weekly calendar meetings; prepare and distribute weekly schedule for attorneys and ensure appropriate attorney coverage for calendar events daily. Distributing and indexing faxes immediately upon receipt. Responsible for performing the iView administrative daily review of imported mail from the CPC, including verifying items for accuracy of matter number. Following the protocols of the Operational Guidelines, process cash receipt/recovery checks daily. Provide front desk coverage for receptionist as needed.
Position Requirements
Must have litigation experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and computer knowledge.
