AIG is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage and support global finance process and technology programs for the Enterprise Financial Transformation (EFT) Group in our NY/NJ offices. The right individual will serve as senior project manager and manage project resources on day to day activities including internal/external resources both domestic and international.
Create project charters and business cases.
Develop and maintain integrated work plans.
Execute and complete project objectives and comply with all corporate and regulatory standards and requirements.
Manage multiple stakeholders expectations in a diverse and global matrix environment.
Work in a structured PMO environment. B.A. / B.S. degree in Technology, Accounting and/or Business Administration is required. An MBA is preferred.
6 or more years progressive experience in large global projects analyzing and solving financial challenges through the development of process and/or system solutions.
PMI/PMP Certification and PMLC/SDLC methodology experience is critical.
Large scale financial or insurance industry program/project management experience.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential. Ability to communicate complex concepts and strategies between different communities of people.
SAP and/or other Financial systems experience and knowledge of finance and accounting concepts is
highly desirable.
Proven track record of relationship building at the highest business unit and management levels.
Experience working in a PMO structured environment.
