Specialist Legal Counsel I (IP)
The candidate provides an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of Intellectual Property professionals in one of the world?s premier high technology companies. Initially, will function in the Patent Development group of the General Counsel. Initial responsibilities are expected to include the following: Training - Actively participate in a rigorous IP training program designed to prepare attorneys to perform at a high level across a variety of IP functions. Here, will complete annual goals and milestones in a timely, quality, and positive manner. Patent application preparation and prosecution - Prepare and prosecute strategic, high quality patent applications, protecting company?s products and services. Work closely with company scientists and engineers to identify and protect inventions that are important to company across a wide range of technologies strategic to company. Actively participate in company?s invention disclosure review process to help ensure that company?s most strategic inventions are identified and patented. Serve, from time to time, as a member of a cross-functional team to provide support in licensing, litigation, monetization, or other matters.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
