Finance Process Specialist - EFT

AIG is seeking a Finance Process Specialist for its Enterprise Finance Transformations efforts for the Americas in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office. The right person will analyze and solve business problems through the development and execution of transformation (change management) programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement target operating models.
Translate finance strategy with change management methods in practical/operational finance processes in local offices, accounting centers and regional head quarters.
Bridge the gaps between operational and system processes by means of organizational design and people management tools.
Develop, coordinate and drive the delivery of process analysis, identification of process improvements/impacts of business changes and developing comprehensive process documentation using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) standard.
Provide Finance management support by maintaining the documentation, explanation of the process documentation methodology, initiate process standardization, improvements, effectiveness and efficiency. B.A. / B.S. degree is required. Previous consulting experience is preferred.
Ability to translate strategy into process design.
Proficient with methodology and tools such as Microsoft Visio for documenting processes and/or other global tools.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
Well versed in understanding our internal client's needs.
Previous experience of managing teams.
Ability to handle multiple initiatives with competing interests for time and evolving priorities.
Adapt easily to constant change.
Strong analytical and process orientation with the ability to define and validate as-is processes as well as to design to-be processes.
Lead understanding of the intersection of business processes with system processes.
Utilize Six Sigma or Lean principles and methods.
Work closely with project teams, business and senior executives as part of a joint team.
Position will require travel between our Berkeley Heights and New York City offices. American International Group, Inc.
